You are the Holy One enthroned on the praises of your people. Our ancestors trusted in you and you delivered them; they put their trust in you and were not disappointed. Psalm 22:3–5
God of Israel old and new,
write in our hearts the lessons of your law;
prepare our minds to receive the gospel
made visible in your Son Jesus Christ
who lives and reigns with you and the Holy Spirit,
one God now and for ever.

A group of us recently attended the Diocesan Training Day on working with families and children. We have come back with some exciting ideas we would like to share with you. The day emphasised that we are all part of families and that supporting families to share and grow faith is important to the ongoing life of the church. We will hold a meeting after the 10.00am service on Sunday 26 August. We will talk about what we learnt at the day and discuss some of the ideas we could try out in our parish.
