Alpha 2017 will kick off on Thursday 27 July for 10 weeks. Alpha is a really good opportunity to build faith and a great place for people who are new to church to come along in a relaxed environment and talk about what life is all about. Alpha is for everyone and if you haven’t done it you won’t want to miss out! Please invite friends, family, neighbours and work colleagues.
BABIES FIRST COFFEE GROUP
The Coffee Group will meet on Monday 10 July and then start again on Monday 24 July.
No Kid’s Church, Youth Groups or mainly music as our leaders take a break for the holidays. Fun stuff is still going on in Church:

The Mission Table will be at the back of the Church on Sunday 9 July. All money raised goes towards Mission in NZ and overseas.
We will be holding a Baptism service at 10am on Sunday 23 July. If you, or a member of your family, would like to be Baptised please contact Ben.

The Association of Anglican Women invite all women of the Parish to our August afternoon meeting on Thursday 3 August.
4pm meet at Church for car pool to Nancy’s Embroidery, Thorndon.
4.30-5.30pm Mary Self will talk and show us the 50th Anniversary Exhibition.
6pm Dinner at 1841, Johnsonville, main course $20.
Donations will be collected for the Homeless Women’s Trust.

SMALL GROUP LEADERS WANTED
Ministry Leaders’ Family Camp is being held at Forrest Lakes Otaki from 3pm Sunday 16 – 3pm Tuesday 18 July. The theme this year is “being sent!” Racheal Sangster from Unlimited Children’s Ministry is running our 5-10 year olds programme which focuses on us all being created for a unique purpose.
We are looking for some small group leaders to help with games, small group activities & discussions. This is a wonderful opportunity to work with an amazing team and impact the lives of these young people.
