Ben’s institution is Sunday afternoon at 2.30pm. There is also an Awesome Church for children and the young at heart on Saturday at 4.30pm, where you can meet Ben and see around the church. More details on each event here. All are welcome.
We are asking for people to bring a plate of finger food for the afternoon tea after Ben’s institution next week. Your help would be greatly appreciated.
On Thursday, 1 August, AAW will meet in the Hunter Lounge. The speaker will be Rory O’Connor, and he will talk about the planning and building of Amesbury School. All are welcome.
Each archdeaconry in the diocese is encouraging discussion about the living wage by showing The Line, a documentary chronicling the new fact of poverty in America, preceded by a message from Bishop Justin. The showing will be followed by a presentation from the Family Centre that will place what has been seen into a New Zealand con-text. Come to our area’s seminar on Thursday 8th August 7.30pm in the church here.

A female parishioner living in Bould St needs backup transport to the Sunday 10.00am service. As the transport coordinator will be away, please contact Katie in the office if you can help.
Are you able to spare an hour or two once a month? We have several vacancies on rosters and would love to be able to fill these. If you have the Time and Talents for one of these roles we would love to talk to you. They include sidesperson once a month for the 8.30am and 10am services, running the data projector at the 10am service, assisting at mainly music occasionally on a Wednesday morning, helping in the garden of rest, and helping clean the hall once a month Contact Katie or Pam, 232-2138.

Meals on Wheels for this area is looking for volunteer drivers. You must be able to deliver meals between 10.30am and 12.30pm on a weekday. You will be rostered on to fit into your schedule. Contact Angela, 938-4833. There is a poster on the noticeboard.
