St Johns, Johnsonville and Holy Trinity, Ohariu
Honour yourself with humility, and give yourself the esteem you deserve
Gracious God, the giver of all good gifts,
you have given us skills and talents
with which to serve you:
help us to use those things,
that in the ministry which you have entrusted to us
we may be instruments of your love.
Help us to honour you with all our gifts. Amen
We continue with our focus on Stewardship. Today we turn to the second ‘T’—the Stewardship of Talent.
There’s an old Christian tradition
that God sends each person into this world
with a special message to deliver,
with a special song to sing for others,
with a special act of love to bestow.
No one else can speak my message,
or sing my song, or offer my act of love.
These are entrusted to me alone.
I wonder… What are your talents? What is your special message, song, act of love – what is it that’s been entrusted to you to share with others?
Sunday and Thursday Bible Readings (Stewardship of Talents):
